Kitchen hire

  • ​The Kitchen is available for hire. If you just wish to use it to make drinks and layout food on plates and wash up afterwards there is a nominal charge of £5.  
  • If you would like full use of the kitchen with the fridge and cooker then the charge is £10.
  • Additionally if you are having a larger gathering we can hire matching crockery and cutlery for up to approximately 100 people for an extra charge, see below.

Music
Cost per hire/day
PRS for Music & PPL fees - Payment towards the licence cost of playing recorded or live music this is passed on to the Performing Rights Society.

Like all village halls we have to pay a licence fee for you to be able to play live or recorded music in the hall to the PRS/PPL. This money gets shared amongst musicians.  We therefore make a small charge towards our annual fee for parties which are likely to play music.
Tables and chairs

Chairs and tables are included in the hire charge but additional new furniture is in storage and can be made available at an additional cost. You will need to move and arrange the furniture to suit your event.  At trolley is provided for this.
Damage deposit

Required for gatherings of more than 40 people (excludes children's parties)

Unfortunately, from past experience, we have learnt that we need to have a deposit from the hirer for parties.  There are plenty of good intentions in the beginning but some people do not always take as much care when using our hall as we would like especially when alcohol is consumed.  We do not require a damage deposit for children's parties.
