The play park development
Set in a semi-rural location our redesigned new play park was built in March 2020 following a long process of fund raising and community engagement. Local primary school children helped us to choose the equipment that has been installed which meets their needs. This equipment covers a broad range of activities including climbing frames, swings, adventure trail, living willow tunnel and a trampoline.
We are currently fundraising to replace those retained items and to make improvements to seating to meet the extra demand the refurbishment has created. This current project has an estimated cost of around £13500 and so far we have received generous support from The Norman Family Trust, The Fryer Recreational Trust and Lord Clinton’s Charitable Trust.
The play park is free to use and is accessible at all times. When using the play park free parking is usually available in the nearby hall car park for those who need to use a car.
