Last year we cleared the boundary of our play park and planted a broad range of young trees. This will provide a natural wildlife habitat and preserve and protect this lovely space for the future. These fledgling trees are doing well but the undergrowth is making a comeback. A working party was busy on Saturday, 12th June, clearing the space around the miniature trees, preventing nettles and other invasive species from depriving the trees of light and nutrients. Our living willow tunnel has been trimmed and interwoven and is growing well

From July 2020 – the new play park outside Knowle village hall is now open during daylight hours.
Because of Covid – Please use the hand sanitiser on arrival and departure and observe social distancing. The contractors are due to begin work on the playground on the 2nd March 2020 and should be finished by the end of March. Just before this date there will be a large metal container in the car-park using up some of the space. Also the workmen will be parking their cars/vans in the car-park so the committee apologise to hall users for the inconvenience of less parking space during this time.
