Our tree planting scheme

Last year we cleared the boundary of our play park and planted a broad range of young trees.  This will provide a natural wildlife habitat and preserve  and protect this lovely space for the future.  These fledgling trees are doing well but the undergrowth is making a comeback.

A working party was busy on Saturday, 12th June, clearing the space around the miniature trees, preventing nettles and other invasive species from depriving the trees of light and nutrients.
