We are a dynamic youth theatre group with a passion for making theatre arts education accessible to children and young people of all backgrounds and abilities. Our experienced, friendly and patient teachers lead fun, engaging weekly classes incorporating the three fundamental theatre arts of drama, dance and singing. We give children and young people the skills, support and encouragement they need to be confident in all areas of their lives – and of course the opportunity to perform in exciting shows and productions throughout the year! Exmouth Youth Theatre is for children and young people aged 8 to 18 years.
There will be workshops each week in acting, singing and movement. The group is for children who want to build their confidence, work as a team and want to have fun whilst developing skills is drama and theatre.
Young people are NOT Auditioned prior to membership, acceptance is based on enthusiasm and commitment and a high level of self-discipline and motivation is expected.
We are looking to expand our current group and therefore WE NEED YOU!
The cost of the sessions is £35 per half term per child, payable in advance.

We meet together on Sunday mornings for an hour, with costs shared equally. We start with some informal Qigong warm-up exercises, followed by the Yang Long Form sequence.
On cold, wet Sundays we meet in Knowle Village Hall from 11am-12noon. On dry Sundays between May and September we practice outdoors on Jubilee Park, overlooking the town and the sea.

Line dancing is a choreographed dance in which people of all ages and abilities dance in 1 or more lines executing the same movements in a synchronised manner.
There is no physical contact with each other and you do not need a partner, everyone dances side by side facing the same direction and each dance consists of a sequence of steps that are repeated throughout the music.
Music is a mixture of all genres and dances include tango, cha cha cha, country & western, mambo, polka, swing, rock n roll, salsa, pop, disco, jazz and many more.
It is easy to pick up as all steps are shown before each dance so it is suitable for even a total beginner, it is a great way to get fit whilst having fun and it is a fantastic way to make new friends.
