I teach BWY Hatha style yoga and include asana, pranayama, meditation relaxation and the general philosophy of yoga as a lifestyle into my classes. I continue to keep my training up to date. Tai chi and Qi gong are great ways to exercise and are suitable for anyone of any age. If Tai Chi or Qigong is something you have always wanted to try or if you have previous experience then please contact us and join in on one of our classes. On Mondays the beginner’s class runs from 10:15 am - 11:15 am and our intermediates class runs from 11:15 am – 12:15 pm. We meet together on Sunday mornings for an hour, with costs shared equally. We start with some informal Qigong warm-up exercises, followed by the Yang Long Form sequence. On cold, wet Sundays we meet in Knowle Village Hall from 11am-12noon. On dry Sundays between May and September we practice outdoors on Jubilee Park, overlooking the town and the sea. At the moment online 10am-11am Price: £8.50 per session Contact Paola to join in on 07715 310920 ![]() WEDNESDAYS 10am-11am Line dancing is a choreographed dance in which people of all ages and abilities dance in 1 or more lines executing the same movements in a synchronised manner. There is no physical contact with each other and you do not need a partner, everyone dances side by side facing the same direction and each dance consists of a sequence of steps that are repeated throughout the music. Music is a mixture of all genres and dances include tango, cha cha cha, country & western, mambo, polka, swing, rock n roll, salsa, pop, disco, jazz and many more. It is easy to pick up as all steps are shown before each dance so it is suitable for even a total beginner, it is a great way to get fit whilst having fun and it is a fantastic way to make new friends.
