I have been teaching yoga for 30 years and Keep Fit prior to that. I teach BWY Hatha style yoga and include asana, pranayama, meditation relaxation and the general philosophy of yoga as a lifestyle into my classes. I continue to keep my training up to date.
All levels of ability including beginners are welcome, please contact me for details and to discuss any medical concerns as a basic medical questionnaire will be completed.
The class is Wed 7 – 8.30 all year and generally is a drop in class but with Covid restrictions you need to pre book and pay on the night. £8. You will receive a warm welcome and I look forward to meeting you.

MONDAYS 2.30pm-3.30pm autumn and winter
A group of people who have previously learnt Tai Chi, Yang Style Long Form, and wish to continue to practice it.
We meet together for an hour. The session starts with some informal warm up Qigong exercises, followed by the Yang Style Long Form Sequence.
The cost of the hire of the hall is shared equally by the group with an upfront payment at the start of each ‘term’.
During the Autumn and Winter months we meet in Knowle Village Hall on a Monday afternoon from 14.30 to 15.30. During the Spring and Summer months we meet at Jubilee Park or The Green from approximately 10.30 to 11.30 on a Monday morning, taking a break in August.

People from all walks of life practise Tai Chi for different reasons, most people benefit from these slow and relaxed movements. Tai chi and Qi gong are great ways to exercise and are suitable for anyone of any age. If Tai Chi or Qigong is something you have always wanted to try or if you have previous experience then please contact us and join in on one of our classes.
On Mondays the beginner’s class runs from 10:15 am - 11:15 am and our intermediates class runs from 11:15 am – 12:15 pm. We practise the Cheng Man Ching style Tai Chi and run through a number of different Qigong sets. Pease have a look at our website for further details.

We are a group who have learnt Tai Chi (Yang Long Form), and wish to continue practising it in a group setting.
We meet together on Sunday mornings for an hour, with costs shared equally. We start with some informal Qigong warm-up exercises, followed by the Yang Long Form sequence.
On cold, wet Sundays we meet in Knowle Village Hall from 11am-12noon. On dry Sundays between May and September we practice outdoors on Jubilee Park, overlooking the town and the sea.

Line dancing is a choreographed dance in which people of all ages and abilities dance in 1 or more lines executing the same movements in a synchronised manner.
There is no physical contact with each other and you do not need a partner, everyone dances side by side facing the same direction and each dance consists of a sequence of steps that are repeated throughout the music.
Music is a mixture of all genres and dances include tango, cha cha cha, country & western, mambo, polka, swing, rock n roll, salsa, pop, disco, jazz and many more.
It is easy to pick up as all steps are shown before each dance so it is suitable for even a total beginner, it is a great way to get fit whilst having fun and it is a fantastic way to make new friends.
